Bleuuuuugghhh!! Alcohol is EVIL&MUST be DESTROYED!!
Flippin eck.... What a freakin week that was! It's taken me 10 minute just to type this much, coz my blood has literally been replaced with alcohol and my brain has refused to come out of hiding for fear of more alcohol abuse. Swear to god, if someone doesn't give me a glass of water soon then i mite actually die. So... quick rundown of the week.... Monday: all goin fine til bout 3:30 when apparently we get struck by litening. FUCK... all managers in a meeting to discuss admin restructure, so Hopkins& me in charge... big mistake! Wot do we do??? Panic blindly, or just pretend we don't notice we got no power? Don't no bout Hopkins, but personally, I'm freakin out coz just taken me bout 2 hours to type up some or otha bollocks& now it's all gone, so i'm using this opportunity to wig out.... JP comes out... pub anyone? HELL YEAH!! That's Monday sorted. Tuesday.... its goin well. Happily the windows restore bollocks actually works, so i only lost a couple paragraphs on Monday. Pheeeeuw! KW breaks news to Hopkins& me that we're now workin unda JP. That's the good news. Bad news is our new team now consists of Docs, Accounts& Helpdesk.... oh holy mother of god! If I kill myself can KW& the rest be done for assisted suicide given that they came up with this brilliant plan? God I hope so! Still silver lining is there's still me, JP& Hopkins, so I guess we can help each otha thru the pain. Roll on team xmas outing! So then 3.30 arrives& guess wot? Servers go down... no systems available AT ALL in NFKT!! Woo hoo! Managers in some sorta meeting again... Hopkins& me in charge again (don't these people eva learn???) so decision needs to be made... send all the fuckers home& down to the pub for the rest of us! Great! Cept D startin to become suspicious now ova lightening then systems failure excuses.... IT'S TRUE THO!!! Wednesday... suddenly we're overwhelmed by a swarm of locusts which compels us to go to the pub.... Nah, only kidding! Nuthin like that at all. Happily all power& systems restored to normal (not that normal's eva that great at NU!). So straight home afta work with no public house diversions! Still, need to celebrate the fact that it's Wednesday, so open a bottle of wine. Neva fear tho boys& girls, coz I did learn my lesson afta previous week, so this time only 1 bottle of wine consumed, not 4! Thursday.... no natural disasters u'll be pleased to hear. However, it is Aimee-Danielle's birthday, and I've been invited to partake in birthday cocktails at Riverside. K... not a problem! I can handle this! Cocktails are childsplay afta all! It's 2 cocktails for £5.50 @ Norwegian Blue tho, so naturally Hopkins& I team up. 1st drink of the day? Long Island Ice Tea... cool. No worries! Then it's my round... surprise me, I'm invited by Hopkins... So I do... Mojito's! Cept barman fucks up& doesn't make em properly. Still culda been worse! Culda been a Woo Woo! Hopkins turn next... surprise me too I say... K then, Long Island Ice Teas again.... original! Ta Hopkkins! So to cut a longish story short, we both end up having 4 Long Island Ice Teas& a Mojito, in the space of about 3 hours having eaten a bowl of chips. Apparently tho, I wasn't nearly as pissed as Hopkins, therefore, I drank him unda the table! Yee-ha!! Swot happens wen u spend ur life drinking pussy beer like guinness! Lol! Friday... Margareta's 40th birthday drinks... yep u read right! 40th!! Wud call her a bitch, but can't coz she's just too nice. So back to Surrey where I bump into Aimee-D (who spends more time in there than even the staff do!) & Alli. Simon's there too so luckily i don't have to spend too much time with ADS... lol! N e ways, spend an enjoyable time with MZ, her otha half Mark, Si, RW& PG before I eventually manage to get hold of D to take me home via Pizza Hut. Then Saturday.... Debs hen party! Get to Chandlers / Imagine / Mustard Lounge woteva the heck its called these days at bout 7. 1st cocktail in before othas arrive, then a trip round Norwich in a PINK limo, watchin Dirty Dancing (ho hum!)& listening to Now 64..."I'm just a love machine...." u get the picutre... nice& girlie!! Whilst driving round we have 6 bottles of fizz to get thru between 8 of us... not a problem! Tho, pouring it was a challenge. Eventually get dropped off in Tombland where Kirsty& I make a beeline for the nearest loos... aka the Slug, coz it seems Limos do not provide lavs! More bubbly, some harmless flirtations with a group of lads next to us then off to Liquid for more bubbly. Me not enjoyin myself so much, cos strangely enuff some memories are comin back to haunt me, and wud rather be n e where else but Liquid. Seems I'm missing some peeps more than i'd liketo! Still end up having a good time on the dance floor, til Debs sister takes a turn for the worse so time for everyone to leave! Left with 4 of us (P, Kirsty, Vicky& me) headin to Riverside til we eventually get to Lava/Ignite... oh holy crap! Wot were we thinkin??? Still, spent a good couple hours in there dancin to some really really shite music, till we finally realise at 1 am that it's time we all went home. Afta quick cab ride home... cab driver tryin to talk to me, but I have seriously lost the ability to speak. Think I may have even switched to afrikaans at one point... happily cabbie gets the picture& stops talkin to me. Managed to get myself in the house, but rather than go straight to bed, which is wot i shuda done, i decide a good bowl of cheesy chips is in order! On goes oven, in go chips, away goes my memory till smoke alarm reminds me that i have cheesy chips for dinner! Oops! Soz neighbours!!! Eatmy bowl of slightly charred cheesy chips then finally get to bed and sleep and have some amazing dreams bout a one-eyed gold fish..... don't ask! So, I'm seriously off the hard stuff all this week! And possibly the next too! Altho its CBP's leavin drinks on Fri, and as I happily spent less last nite than i thought i wud, it seems i can now afford to go out again. Praps i'll just stick to water tho.... YEAH RIGHT!
